Our founder, Austin Hagee, spent years as a felony prosecutor for Bexar County before he ever defended anyone. He saw how the State decides who to charge and how hard prosecutors will push for a conviction, without fully evaluating a case or the complete person on the other side. He also saw people treated merely as a case number in the justice system, not as human beings. So he started a firm that does the opposite: no case is a number here, we have a limited, exclusive caseload, our clients have direct access to multiple trial attorneys that actually know their case and their case discovery, and each client receives a custom-tailored defense prepared as if their case is going to trial.

We are trial lawyers first and constantly work on sharpening our craft through trial simulation, continuing legal education, mock trials, legal research, and witness preparation. Through preparation and execution our efforts have paid off with huge wins in the form of many acquittals, case rejections, and dismissals for our clients.

We are a trial firm, not a plea mill. Austin Hagee has taken a case to trial every year since he was licensed as an attorney, and his firm has secured more than 400 dismissals, Not Guilty verdicts, and even had success convincing prosecutors to drop charges altogether while the jury was in the hallway before trial.
